What better thing to do then stamp with a couple friends on a very cold winter night in Waterloo, IA. I needed to come up with some Valentines quickly tonight. This is what I and my friend came up with. The first card used the Tres Chic background stamp on it with a chipboard heart covered with glitter. What I did was to cover the chipboard with versamark, sprinkled with heat & stick powder & heated with the heat gun. Then you just sprinkle on the glitter & heat again. Before I started I also used the Cropadile to make the holes for the ribbon. It is very striking in real life.
The next card used Priceless which is one of my favorite sets. I used the Coluzzle to cut the circle & then punched out the red circles to attach around the white circle & popped it up with dimensionals. I also added a circle rhinestone brad on the heart & glitter to the swirls which might be hard to see in the picture.
My friend Linda used the Priceless stamp set also. She stamped the butterflys on cardstock vellum & cut them out. She bent them & only glued down the middle body of the butterfly so the wings set up off the card. She used the words from the stamp set "A Beautiful Thing".
These cards are a few of the cards I will be selling at Time for Bags located at the Heritage Art Gallery on Brookeridge Dr in Waterloo, IA.
