Stampin Up has a sale going on until the end of the month where you buy 3 packages of Designer Series Paper & get 1 free. I just received my order recently & have wanted to use some of it but sometimes I like to hoard it. I know, some of you are just like me. Anyway, I had seen pictures and heard on the internet how wonderful the Parisian Breeze Specialty paper was. It is on page 158 of the Spring Summer 2009 Idea Book & Catalog. I decided to order it to check it out. It is heavier than our regular Designer Series paper & also texturized. I am just in love.
Tonight a friend called & stopped over to stamp for a bit. She was talking that I should make a card with the Scallop Die in the Big Shot. I had not done this since January or February. I forced myself to use my new paper. I got out my Pretties Kit & she said to maybe use a button in the middle. I smiled & said "Wait, I have Corduroy buttons & brads in a matching color." I have been wanting to put the brad inside the button as I had seen this idea online also. I used the Aqua Painter to add a little color to the white flower from the Pretties kit. I stamped the words "for you" from the Great Friend stamp set that is on page 6 of the Occasions Mini Catalog along with the Baja Breeze corduroy buttons. I am attaching another picture of a side view so you can see the other side of the card. I stamped more words inside. Isn't it just beautiful?

VERY cute!
