So it is past time to share one of my roommate gifts from Monika Davis from GA. Isn't it wonderful? It is decorated on both sides so you can clip a card on the top of each side & write a few notes about it below. She used Chalkboard Decor Element Sheets you can purchase from page 216 of the Idea Book & catalog. She made one of these for each of the roommates using their favorite color. Mine is Yellow. Also used is the Butterfly Prints stamp set & Creative Elements stamp set, Pumpkin Pie 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, 5/8" Daffodil Delight grosgrain ribbon, Butterfly Punch, Scallop Trim Border Punch, a designer button, Bakers Twine & Basic Pearls. The Paper came from the Brights Collection Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack.
Love it Monika. You are so talented.
So just a followup story about this card holder. On the plane home from Salt Lake City to Denver there was a very large number of Stampin' Up! demonstrators on board. I shared my swaps with some ladies across the aisle. When I was passing it over other demos saw the card holder and wanted it held up so the stewardess held it up for all to see. Everyone started asking me questions about it like the measurements & I said I had no idea as I had not made it. Pretty soon the stewardess came back with a tape measure then proceeded to say that we can have our stamp party but hoped we saved a project for her. Luckily I still had a stamped post card that I gave to her. She seemed pleased. When I told Monika later, she stated she had heard about it but they didn't know who was showing it.
