Pre Christmas Stampin Up Vendor Event

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My day job had a vendor event to raise money for United Way.   I found out about this last minute & had an event myself so my friend Nancy Carpenter & I worked together in the couple days prior to come up with some Secret Santa/Christmas Stocking/Teacher Gifts to sell.  This was my table there.  We also sold greeting cards and I gave out information on stamping events I have.  I will show you a couple of the little gifts we made today & then show more tomorrow. 

 

 

Christmas Stocking Money Holders- Kathleen Hansen

So my mother needed something to put the money in for all the Great Grandchildren.  I suggested using our new stocking die as it would make a wonderful Money holder.  My sister & I helped her a bit but she did most of it.  Great job Mom.

Hope everyone is enjoying some time spent with family & friends.  Thought I would share my cards that I ended up getting done just at the last minute.  Hoping to get them done earlier this next year.

Stamp Buffet Card- Stitched Stocking

I have just found out that I had never shared this card.  This gives you another idea of what to do with this Christmas stocking set.  It does not have to be used just for Christmas as you can see.  Below will be a close up picture showing the eye & the mane better. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The eye is a Basic Rhinestone called black with a Black Sharpie.  The mane is using some Whisper White 1/4" Grosgrain ribbon.  The ribbon was cut along one edge & then you take about 1/2 of the loose parts of the ribbon leaving enough to glue behind it with crystal effects. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Supplies Used:  Stampin Up Stitched Stocking stamp set, Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set, Big Shot, Scallop Square Bigz Clear Die, Backgrounds 1 Texturz Plate with diamond pattern, Stocking Builder Punch, Modern Label Punch, dimensionals, Basic Rhinestones, Whisper White 1/4" grosgrain ribbon, crystal effects, Basic Black 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon.

 

Michele Schmidt, Waterloo, IA is almost done with her 80 Christmas cards.  Just have to get the glitter on them, sign them & get the labels for the envelopes done.  I can see the end.  Next year I really am going to try to figure out an easier card.  I know, I say that every year. 

Clearance Rack Blitz begins

Have you checked out the Clearance Rack recently?  Stampin' Up! has added almost 200 items to their Clearance Rack with some of the items being discounted up to 80%.  The most important thing to remember is that these items are only available while supplies last.  You can order one of two different ways: 

1)     You can put in your own online order and have the order delivered directly to your house by clicking Here.   There are many of the old style punches included in this sale.

2)     You can also email me at Msch1l@mchsi.com.  Any orders emailed to me will need to be received by 3:30pm Monday night, December 19th and will need to be paid by check or cash, not credit card.  Orders can include items that are not in the Clearance Rack also.   If all the emailed orders I receive totals at least $150 I will do a Mystery Hostess so some lucky person will be contacted to pick out $25 in Hostess items or any item in the catalog. 

If I get more interest in items near the end of the Blitz date (January 5, 2012) I will put in another order then. 

 

November Scrap Club- Christmas layout

Sorry this isn't the best picture ever.  I have received so many compliments on these scrapbook pages and even had a couple people ask if they could take a picture of it at my vendor event in Waverly, IA this weekend.

So what product did I use?  Letters to Santa Designer Series Paper, Sizzix Big Shot, Snow Burst Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Naturally Serif Sizzlit Decorative Strip Die, Old Olive 1/2" Scallop Dots Ribbon, White Bakers Twine, Cherry Cobbler/White Bakers Twine, Postage Stamp Punch, Stocking Builder Punch, Silver Glimmer Paper.

Cardstock colors were Marina Mist, Riding Hood Red, Old Olive, Early Espresso & either Blushing Bride or Pink Pirouette.

Christmas Card #6- Pennant Parade

 This card was my last card of the Christmas Card Stamp a Stack & quite fun coming up with.  I have seen Designer Paper that has had words all over it so thought I would try it.  Maybe need to place a couple a little better but oh, well.
