Just got back late last night from Stampin Up Leadership Conference after 3 delays from the 2 legs of my trip. I was in the airport from 8:30am to 10:00pm. Sound like fun? Not really but boy did the rest of the trip make up for it. As Leadership is usually in new places I have never been before myself & roommates normally go in the day before. We stayed at the Grand Hyatt right downtown & connected to the Convention Center where Leadership was held. It is also on the River Walk where there are many shops & restaurants. One of the first things we did is take a tour on the river. I am adding a few pictures below of what we saw. We were also told about the filming of a future Extreme Home Makeover show being filmed later in the week for a show to be shown next December. More about that later.

They have restaurants along the River Walk that you can choose to eat outdoors or inside. On a cooler night some of them even have heaters to keep you warm.
The weather was wonderful and between 60 & 70 for highs. Even missed out on some of the bad weather back home:)
