Decor Element basement wall finished!

So I started working on putting up these circles last week & most days just did a few of them.  Yesterday & today I finished it off.  This set is called Spot On II.  It consisted of 24 circles, 8 of each color: Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery & Chocolate Chip.  I cut up some of the double circles to spread it out a little further.  I also had purchased a package of Decor Elements Sheets in Chocolate Chip.  I used the Big Shot along with the Bigz Clear Circle Die & the Originals Circles #2 Die to cut additonal Chocolate Chip circles to spread through out the design.  

As previously stated, Stampin' Up! does not recommend you place these on rough walls.  They seem to have worked well but I have a very sore finger as I did have to rub each one with my finger.  The tool you would normally use does not work as well for these.  At convention I had tried one & it works very well on a smooth surface.  It is very quick & easy.  This did take a little longer & took a little more care.  But isn't it just beautiful?  Here is one more picture at a different angle. 

   

My Stamping Place walls are coming to life!

 For those that have been to My Stamping Place in Waterloo, IA, you know the walls are just plain white with a little blue in a few spots.  I have wanted to add some of Stampin' Up!'s Decor Elements to some of the walls but had not had the time.   I have just started on one of the walls & when I get it further done I will add a better picture so you can see the results.  I just love it!

Decor Elements are vinyl pieces in many different designs for any room of your house that stick to the wall.  They are perfect for anyone, even a renter that is unable to do any decorating to their apartment or house.  These do not hurt the wall & you can just peel them off when you want to change them up or have to move away. 

I will say that Stampin' Up! states they should be placed on smoothly painted walls but I have heard other Stampin' Up! demonstrators say they have used them with no problems on a rougher wall.  I am taking a chance but so far it looks wonderful.  I even had one of my customers helping me tonight for a bit after my Stamp a Stack.
