So my nephew just had a son & mom needed a shower card.  I gave her another card to show her the layout & helped her dig through my boxes of retired designer series paper to find some paper that would work for the Bashful Blue card she had choosen.  She used several punches & a Big Shot die to get her circles & scallop.  The Big Shot was also used on the card with the Square Lattice textured embossing folder.  The Stampin Up stamp set called Easy Events was picked. She used the Blender Pen to color it in & I helped her find the star brad as I knew I had a couple left.  Good job mom.  My mom is 86 years old & even she cases her Christmas cards each year.  She also cuts almost all my cardstock & ribbon for my stamping events.  She is amazing & I love her.  Thanks for sharing mom.

So my 4 year old Great Niece Leah came to visit to Great Grandma's yesterday & wanted to make a card as she just found out her mommy is expecting & she will have be having a brother or sister.  She choose to make a blue card using a retired Stampin Up stamp set called "I'm Here". She also used Night of Navy grosgrain ribbon  & the Modern Label Punch.  I did tie the ribbon for her but she did the rest & even wrote Leah, mommy, daddy & baby inside the card.  Good job Leah!

Barb had seen some cards online & the one on page 7 of the Occasions Mini Catalog doing the butterfly this way.  She made this simple Sympathy card.  Love it Barb!

What young child wouldn't like this card for his birthday?  Elmo, Cookie Monster & Big Bird all using punches.  I believe for the heads she used a Scallop Circle punch then put it back in again & rotated it a bit before punching.

Barb brought this card to show me about a week ago.  So glad to see she is using some of her Stampin Up product she purchased longer ago.  I love it and if you haven't figured out what she used to make the flower & stem, it is the Bird Builder Punch.

Although Nancy is in a much warmer place right now she had showed me this card prior to leaving & I had not showed it yet.  Thought it was a perfect time due to the snow we just received yesterday. 

Isn't it just adorable? 

 

Punch art is so fun.  How many different Stampin Up punches can you see used here?  I see at least 7 without too much looking.  Love also the Basic Pearl she added to the snowflake.

Happy Valentine Day & Guest Artist- Nancy Carpenter

Nancy is down south for a couple months but prior to leaving she left this cute Valentine treat bag for me with a couple Ghiradelli chocolates in it.  How sweet. 

She used a taller sack but cut it off.  The Whisper White cardstock was crimped & sponged.  She used a retired stamp set, Big Shot, Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit Die, Basic Rhinestones, Cropodile & Real Red 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon.
