Those that know me know I have 45 nieces & nephews & 40 some great nieces & nephews. Max is the newest being only 2 weeks old. Loved this picture of mom & decided to quick do a page using My Digital Studio. I loved how it turned out.

About 1 month ago I spent an hour or 2 putting together my 2008 Christmas pictures using My Digital Studio. Eventually I want to get them printed out & try doing some Hybrid Scrapbooking with them. Until then I have decided to share them as they are. I just love how easy it is made doing it online specially when I don't have much extra time.
Did you know that I am My Digital Studio Certified? I took classes to help me learn better how to use this program and to be able to assist my customers.

My Digital Studio has 8 Designer Templates you can use for Scrapbooking by just dragging & dropping photos on the pages. You can also take them & change them any way you want. Deleting & adding items. Below is 2 of the 12 pages in a Birthday Template. I started with these 2 layouts & played with them to come up with my layout for my Hostess Scrapbook Club. You can see how I changed them below.

You can change the color of your background paper with a few clicks. You can add stamping & embellishments. Doing this saved me from trying to come up with a layout & possibly wasting cardstock for a layout that didn't work out. This layout is not exactly what I came up with in the end but some of the elements are. I will show you the actual layout another day soon. The birthday cake I tried to do with punches on the program but when I actually tried them out with real punches it did not work. I ended up using a different element in that spot. Watch for the next post.

I have been taking classes online with Stampin' Up! to get certified on the My Digital Studio software. One of the requirements was to make a card with the software & get it printed through Stampin' Up!'s printer. This is the card I designed. I have received the card back in the mail & some of you have been able to view it. What did you think of it? When I have a chance I am going to print it on our Whisper White cardstock so I can compare the printing. The card uses the Upsy Daisy & Heard from the Heart brush stamp sets. Also used are Designer Paper, grosgrain ribbon & brads all from Stampin' Up.

I told you recently about our new software called My Digial Studio that is in the Holiday Mini Catalog. This software will be available for sale come October 1st. It is much more than a scrapbooking program but that was what first drew me to it. I just don't have enough time to do all the scrapbooking I want to do. I had open stamping tonight but afterwards I went home to check all my emails etc and then threw this page together. I have not even taken the training yet they have for us. I am sure I will learn many things to help me put this together faster & nicer. What do you think?
I am sure some of you are asking what My Digital Studio is? It is an electronic scrapbooking software program where you scrapbook your pictures online. We had a peek at it at Convention the beginning of this month. There are templates set up for you that you can change any piece of or you can start from scratch. There are stamps, punches, ribbons, Designer Paper & all kinds of wonderful embellishments you can add to your layout. The stamps can even be adjusted larger or smaller as you would like. You can then print the pages out & put them in an album or you can add embellishments such as ribbon & brads, etc to add dimension & put them in an album. This will be one of the new items in the upcoming Holiday Mini catalog. The Mini Catalog is effective September 1st but My Digital Studio will probably not be available until sometime in October this year. Stampin' Up! will has a printing company that has calibrated their printers to be true SU colors. If you print them on your own computer or with another company it will be be guaranteed to match the true SU colors but you are allowed to do this. You can even make up a bound book of your pages. There is an option to do calendars & greeting cards on it also. I will be bringing you more information on this as it is available.
